How would you describe that this course has helped your artistry?
The course really helped me improve my skills in makeup, being professional & how to behave around clients. Jimmy also educated us a lot on what to do after the course, how to start a career in makeup & how to build a connection with clients and followers on your page.

What was your favorite part of your course?
I loved the range of makeup we were taught. There wasn’t a genre of makeup we didn’t cover. It really taught me how to tone down my looks for clients but also express myself with SFX and character makeup.

What has been your biggest makeup career highlight since completing your course with us?
I have won two awards in the Beauty show as a student and as a professional. Jimmy is very supportive and helped me achieve my goals. I’m also going to be on Virgin Media for a makeup competition and I’ve worked with so many amazing photographers and models.

Would you recommend this course to others?
I would 100% recommend this course. There isn’t a point missed on this course but it also teaches you things that not many other courses do ex. The competitiveness of the makeup industry and how to build a connection with your clients online.

How would you describe that this course has helped your artistry?
I learned every makeup skill I have from this course along with most of my communication and customer service skills. I went into this course thinking I wasn’t going to be able for it but when I saw myself get better every week from practice and learning in my course and constant help and tips from Jimmy I quickly saw how much I improved and that I was capable. I loved it & it was the best decision I ever made!

What was your favorite part of your course?
For me, the makeup demos were my biggest learning point. Of course, actually doing makeup and learning practically helped but listening to the way Jimmy explained his demo and how detailed he went with every look really helped me improve my own skills. Also how welcoming and homely the atmosphere felt, I never felt judged or uncomfortable. I was always welcomed with open arms!

What has been your biggest makeup career highlight since completing your course with us?
After the course, I soon went on to become a trainee tutor, which was something I NEVER thought I would be capable of becoming! With Jimmy then mentoring me I became a tutor and demoing for hundreds of students! Being able to do makeup looks I’m proud of and transforming people to a full glam gives me a sense of meaning and I wouldn’t have gotten to here without this course!

Would you recommend this course to others?
If it wasn't clear already, YES! I do recommend this course! Jimmy was always so accommodating to me and certain circumstances in my life. To him, I am forever grateful & I honestly think if you're sitting on the edge, thinking about doing a course, just go for it & KILL IT WITH CREATIVITY!

How would you describe that this course has helped your artistry?
During my time studying with Jimmy, I started off very shy and a complete beginner to the makeup artistry world. I Had little to no experience with dealing with clients. After a few weeks, I saw a massive change, not only in my makeup skills but my confidence too! Jimmy teaches you everything and how to act in a professional manner no matter what setting you want to specialise in.

What was your favorite part of your course?
Honestly, I loved the exams, getting to chose and create your favourite look from different genres such as SFX to bridal. You get a real feel for everything! I also made lifelong friends from this course who were all extremely talented in their art.

What has been your biggest makeup career highlight since completing your course with us?
Since completing my level 3, I have gone on to be a MAC cosmetic artist! I always wanted to work on the counter as I love meeting and interacting with other people. It’s an amazing opportunity to work for such a big makeup company.

Would you recommend this course to others?
I would 100% recommend this course to everyone. Even if you’re just looking to improve your own skills or go out and work in a professional setting. Makeup is a lifelong skill that will be with your throughout your whole life, and definitely worth the investment!

How would you describe that this course has helped your artistry?
This course has been amazing and has definitely helped me develop and perfect my techniques. Each look is assessed by Jimmy. He gives tips on methods and techniques to bring my skill to a new level. Very quickly I started to do looks that I never thought I’d I would be able to do. The difference between the looks created at the start of the year versus the looks towards the end is just unreal. To be able to develop my skills in such a short time is crazy!

What was your favorite part of your course?
My favourite part of the course is when we sit around and talk about everything and anything. It feels like we gather around and discuss as one big family. We can talk about everything makeup and get a real insight into the industry with Jimmy. He genuinely makes you feel like the world is your oyster, we all leave that day thinking of routes to go down in the industry that you would never have considered before in a million years!

What is your makeup career goal?
The possibilities are endless in this industry you can go on to do anything or be anyone you want. I would love to own my own successful cosmetic brand recognised by millions. Being up there with the big names like such as P. Louise and Pat McGrath. Katie now works for MAC cosmetics

Would you recommend this course to others?
I would highly recommend this course. I learned so much about the industry and its different paths whether that be fashion & photographic makeup, bridal, SFX, character, fantasy, you name it we did it! It allowed me to fully express my creativity with everything I did I really put a lot of thought and hard work into my craft. Every day I walk into the academy it’s something different there’s never a dull moment!
